Ansett Aviation Training Expands Operations Into Dubai With ATR Training

Global Pilot Training Group, Ansett Aviation Training, Announces New Simulator Training Centre in Dubai

Australian headquartered Ansett Aviation Training (AAT) has announced its continued global simulator training network expansion through the launch of a new full flight simulator training centre for airlines and pilots in Dubai.

Ansett Aviation Training has chosen Dubai, located in the United Arab Emirates, as the perfect location to best serve airline demand and will launch its operations with an EASA certified ATR72-600 full flight simulator in July 2023.

The Ansett operation will be located within the Dynamic Advanced Training Centre in the Dubai South aviation precinct. The state-of-the-art facility will offer world-class training to pilots and flight crew across the Middle East, Africa, India and beyond.

AAT’s new operation in Dubai is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality aviation training to airlines through its network of 6 training centres globally. With a team of experienced instructors and state-of-the-art facilities, the new location will be well positioned to meet the growing demand for aviation training in the region.

Ansett Aviation Training’s CEO Mark Delany said “We are excited to be establishing our Dubai centre to support the increasing training requirements of the airlines across the region. We look forward to bringing the Ansett brand to Dubai with the customer centric partnership approach we are proud of”.

ATR’s Vice President of Training & Flight Operations, Christian Commissaire said “ATR welcomes the arrival of Ansett’s ATR72-600 sim to support ATR operators in the region”.

The new training centre in Dubai will be ready for training in July 2023 and is now in active discussion with airlines on how to best support their training requirements.
